Abstract

The article provides tips on improving the taste of brown rice. Noted is the tendency of the rice to have dry and crusty bottom layer because it has to be cooked over direct heat. The author recommends cooking brown rice in a Dutch oven with 3¼ cups of liquid for 65 to 70 minutes. Three recipes for Brown Rice With Vegetables are presented.
