Incorporating Sustainability into Chemical Engineering Education.

The article studies how sustainability can be incorporated into chemical engineering education in the United States. The authors describe some of the educational practices used to incorporate sustainable development concepts into engineering education, with a particular focus on chemical engineering education. The authors also examine categories of sustainable engineering courses and identify the elements of sustainability and how these elements are incorporated into design. Trends prevalent in sustainable engineering teaching are also discussed.
