Abstract
- The article discusses the author's sentiments on the price respite of oil. There is a risk that the price respite can discourage vital efforts to advance energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. New Yorkers should reduce their oil use still further and try to displace natural gas as well as to reduce its price volatility. New York has led the nation in its commitment to be free from dependence on fossil fuels.
