Abstract: The article offers information on the late Archaic statue of Dionysus from Icaria. It discusses the findings of the investigation, which consists that details of the Archaic statue of the seated figure of Dionysus, which was kept in the National Archeological Museum in Athens. It is cited that the sanctuary in Icaria were found during the excavations in 1888 to 18889. The article also offers discussion on the second late Archaic baldachin in Delphi, and their effect on votive reliefs to Heracles and vase painting.
