Abstract
- The article discusses the shrinking of a goatskin coat after cleaning. The base skins of the garment also became crispy. The skins needed more oil in the final bath than they received. As an effect, the skins feel hard and brittle and they have also tightened temporarily. The garment should be re-processed in a single bath dosed with about 3ml/liter of leather oil.
