Abstract
- New hydrogen separation technology using nanocrystalline membranes immersed in the ambient of the ionized hydrocarbon gases are discussed. Grain boundaries of nanomaterials doped with impurities are considered as nanochannels for hydrogen separation. The maintenance of the atomically clean membrane surfaces by physical and chemical sputtering processes is considered. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
