Abstract
- The article discusses the impact of the economic downturn on the income of dental practices in Ireland. The income in dental practices is said to have declined to about 20% in the first half of 2008 compared with the same period in 2007. The issues involving income tax facing dental practices are tackled. Dentists are recommended to prepare timely accounts in order to monitor the performance of their practices.
