Fiber Type Composition of Cadaveric Human Rotator Cuff Muscles.

The article presents research into the fiber composition of the muscles associated with the shoulder rotator cuff. A cadaveric study of those muscles was conducted. Fiber typing found that most of the muscles were of mixed fiber type. It is noted that the cadavers examined were those of older people, which could have influenced the results.
