Abstract

The article discusses the measurements and scientific concept of time. According to him, time and space are inseparable idea regarding measurements in modern scientific thoughts. Historical background of how measurements of time has developed, starting from the Egyptian calendar, is also explored in the article. Furthermore, the author also discusses the how the birth of the universe is measured. According to him, Edwin Hubble, using a reflector telescope at the Lick Observatory, discovers the continuous movement of the heavenly bodies in the universe and shows that space and time are dynamic. He adds that the starting point of space and time is the Big Bang, which is 15 billion years ago.
