Abstract

The article reports that officials from four American Indian tribes prayed in their native languages to bless the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tribal officials stood at the four compass points of the building and offered their blessings to ensure its long-term success. Osage Nation was to the north, Creek Nation was to the south, Cherokee Nation was to the east and an Otoe tribal member representing the Plains Indian was to the west.
