Abstract
- This paper explores the ways in which the informal workplace culture of a group of Mexican immigrant gardeners provides an outlet for the expression and reaffirmation of a particularly Latin American masculinity. Ethnographic field notes and informal interviews on the job provide a window into the men's daily interactions, workplace values and practices, and work-family connections. These themes are explored as they relate to the literature on masculinities and prevailing theories of men, work, and families. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
