Microcredit and Policy Transfer: The Case of Turkish Grameen Microcredit Project.

This paper examines the recent introduction of microcredit in Southeast Turkey. The paper argues that application and operation of microcredit by Turkish Grameen Microcredit Project (TGMP) has been an example of policy transfer and lesson-drawing of the Turkish government from the Bangladeshi experience.
