Questionnaires and Interviews.

The article reports on the data-collection techniques to obtain accurate, current, and relevant data for successful fieldwork in geography. Questionnaires are effective in obtaining large amount of numerical or quantitative data by approaching people on the street to answer a list of questions. Interviews often provides an opportunity for an in-depth conversation with someone relevant to the area of study and are effective in obtaining qualitative data.
