Abstract

The article reports that contractor Carillion has expressed its confidence in winning the contract to build a new satellite terminal to Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5. The £400 million satellite complex, known as T5C, is expected to be completed by 2010, as part of the British Airports Authority's £9.3 billion, 11-year investment plan. Carillion business services executive director Don Kenny said that he was confident of at least winning the project to manage construction and fit-out of T5C.
