Abstract
- Section 4, Chapter 4 of the book "Precambrian Geology of Finland: Key to the Evolution of the Fennoscandian Shield," edited by M. Lehtinen, P. A. Nurmi and O. T. Rämö is presented. It describes the layered mafic intrusions in the Akanvaara and Koitelainen shields, located within the Central Lapland greenstone belt. It offers information on the level of chromitite reserves in these shields.
