Abstract

The article focuses on the British deep-sea trawl industries during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries that has been considered as the most hazardous sector. It proposes to widen the scope regarding the literature of Deep-sea trawling by providing an investigation of the health and safety issues that has a great impact to trawlers. Furthermore, It compares the circumstances that has surrounded the growth of major British trawling ports during the two periods.
