Abstract

Chapter 17 of the book "Evidence-Based Educational Methods" is presented. It deals with the studies related to peer tutoring. One study concluded that tutoring is one of only two effective tactics in the 1960s. A study that reviewed literature on cooperative learning tactic, in which students teach other students, suggested that the effect tactic is traceable to peer tutoring components.
