Abstract
- The article reports on the $44 million project awarded to Ryan Cos. U.S. Inc. and its subcontractors for the expansion of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co.'s operation center in Des Moines, Iowa. The company, together with its subcontractors, has been able to gather 250,000 injury-free hours. The Associated General Contractors of America reports that last 200, the company has only an injury rate of .34 injuries per 100 full-times hours worked.
