Abstract

Russula texensis sp. nov. is described from Newton Co, Texas, as a new typical member of sect. Xerampelinae. It is a very rare species that can be defined by the combination of characters of spores and those of hyphal terminations and dermatocystidia in the pileus. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
