Abstract

The article focuses on the linguistic world, where people live completely even though there are only few signs. These signs can work adequately without any explanation in the language of what they mean. According to Ferdinand de Saussure, road signs and the Morse code are very precise and can provide a set of messages that are notably limited. Roland Barthes wrote in a key passage of "Elements of Semiology," that through the typographical sign of italicization which brings out the importance of what is being uttered, usage can be reformed into a sign.
