Abstract
- This article explores the relationship between 20th century French philosophers Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir. According to the article, Sartre and Beauvoir lived together in the same apartment or even in the same hotel. It notes that the association of Sartre with the feminist did not seem to affect his male chauvinism. It also finds that Beauvoir's book "The Second Sex" does express a number of ideas found in the work of Sartre.
