Abstract
- The article reports that Washingtonians, a gay rights group in Washington State, has celebrated the first anniversary of its domestic partnership registry on July 23, 2008. The group continues to zero in on realizing full marriage equality. Over 4,280 couples have registered as domestic partners in the state in the course of one year. Among those who registered, 65% of them live outside Seattle, and over half of registered couples are outside King County.
