Abstract

The article discusses how the fabric and glass had been integrated to a successful sculptural collaborations made possible by two Washington artists Louise Kodis and David Glass. The latter has wide experience in restoration and repair of historical windows while the former was trained in graphic design. It states that their collaborative works are developed in various formats such as in ceiling-suspended, floor-standing, and table-standing. According to Kodis, they are not trying to be iconoclasts, they simply want to strive for a wonderful combination of fabric and glass.
