Abstract
- The article reports on the fame of former Guantanamo inmate Murat Kurnaz for his book "Five Years of My Life: A Report From Guantanamo/Fünf Jahre Meines Lebens: ein Bericht aus Guantanamo," which was co-written by Hemut Kuhn. It is noted that the media in Germany is interested in the suffering of Kurnaz. According to an interview with Kurnaz by reporter Rainer Kahrs, he was tortured with heat and was put in solitary confinement.
