Abstract
- The article presents the conference of the American Conference on Oriental Rugs (ACOR) 4 at the Westin Hotel, Denver, Colorado in May 1998 mounted by the Colorado Textile Group. Michael Rothberg in the Focus Sessions surveyed the Baluch prayer rugs. Jim Dixon presented Islamic cosmology and number symbolisms. The ACOR exhibit was mounted by Sharon and Rex Brown. The Navajo child's blanket collected in 1847 in Vera Cruz, Mexico is included.
