EMMANUEL Adebayor made his first Arsenal appearance in two-and-a-half months last night as Arsenal won 3- 1 at Stuttgart but he showed little of the dazzling form that has had Barcelona and AC Milan beating a path to his door. The Togo striker looked lethargic and heavy-legged during his 45-minute run-out before being withdrawn at the break along with strike partner Robin van Persie, who was also playing his first pre-season match. Adebayor's first touch in the opening minutes was embarrassing when an attempted feint tricked no one but himself and he ended up in a heap by the goalline.
