Abstract
- The article provides information on the film "Operation Checkmate" of Screen Gems company at Hollywood in Los Angles California. It states that the film is based on the headline-making Colombian hostage rescue, which will be told from the point of view of the Colombian military rescuers. Moreover, it notes that Colombian Simon Brand is in negotiations to direct the film. Further , it mentions that Doug Davison and Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment are attached to produce the film.
