Abstract
- The article offers information about photographer, filmmaker, and performance artist Alida Walsh. The article focuses on her 1985 work-in-progress titled "A Pound of Flesh," a short documentary that will be placed next to a 10 foot high sculpture of a human being made out of raw meat, which will eventually be cooked and eaten at the closing of the exhibition. The author discusses her other works, such as "Being Punk at Fifty," and "Happy Birthday I'm Fourty," as well as her philosophy about her artwork.
