New Kazakh company; Port Hope update.

This article reveals the plan of Cameco Corporation and Kazatomprom to establish a new company called Ulba Conversion LLP. The new company will develop a uranium hexafluoride conversion facility at the Ulba Metallurgical plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan. Particular focus is given to the ownership structure of Ulba Conversion LLP. The objectives of the memorandum of understanding signed between Cameco and Kazatomprom in 2007 are given. Meanwhile, Cameco has taken several steps to prevent further contamination at its plant in Ontario.
