Abstract: We present a survey of some results on the theory of singular integral operators with piece-wise continuous coefficients in the weighted spaces of continuous functions with a prescribed continuity modulus (generalized Hölder spaces Hω(Γ, ρ)) together with some new results related to oscillating (non-equilibrated) characteristics and oscillating weights.
