Abstract

Many laboratories have identified proteins on two-dimensional (2-D) maps, and have built a master gel and a related 2-D database containing data specific to the identified proteins. Several of these databases have been made available on the World Wide Web (WWW) (1), and many more will undoubtedly follow. This chapter shows how to retrieve data remotely from these databases over the Internet. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
