Abstract

If you're a regular Dreamweaver user, I don't need to tell you the importance of site definition; it's how Dreamweaver organizes your web files and makes sure that links point to the right place. If you're in a hurry, and working with static web files, Dreamweaver will let you create a quick page without saving it within a defined site. That won't work with PHP pages. Dreamweaver uses the site definition to determine which tools to make available to you. Unless you choose the correct server model, all the PHP server behaviors will be inaccessible, and you won't be able to test your files. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
