Fuzzy Fusion for Face Recognition.

Face recognition based only on the visual spectrum is not accurate or robust enough to be used in uncontrolled environments. This paper describes a fusion of visible and infrared (IR) imagery for face recognition. In this paper, a scheme based on membership function and fuzzy integral is proposed to fuse information from the two modalities. Recognition rate is used to evaluate the fusion scheme.
