Abstract
- The article profiles the professional career of Brad Anderson in Salina, Kansas. He taught art history, ceramics, drawing, printmaking, and is the chair of the department of art at Kansas Wesleyan University. The majority of Anderson's ceramic work is handbuild with wheel-thrown additions, and altered wheel-thrown work. Meanwhile, the main area of his work is vessels. He is moving away from teapots to bottle forms, eliminating handles and spouts and just focusing on the body form, with more texture.
