Abstract
- Chapter 3 of first part of the book "V. O. Key, Jr." is presented. It discusses how Professor Roscoe Martin was able to convince Key to head the study of the electoral process in the southern U.S. through the help of some important people including Key's college professor, Isaiah Bowman. It also mentions Key's plan of conducting the research and his selection of his staff as well as the start of his research.
