Abstract
- The article reports that the U.S. Senate and House Republicans have announced major concessions in an attempt to strike a compromise on the long-stalled measure revising the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. But it is unclear whether House Democratic leaders would accept it. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, who has been trying to broker a deal is unhappy with suggestions by Senate Intelligence ranking member Christopher (Kit) Bond that Hoyer may be prolonging negotiations.
