Depths of ignorance.

The article offers some insights into the degradation and protection of ocean biodiversity. Boris Worm at Dalhousie University in Canada and colleagues identified five distinct subtropical hotspots for species such as tuna, marlin and sharks off the eastern coast of the U.S. and Australia, Hawaii and Sri Lanka among other areas. Suggestions for conservation and environmental protection are cited.
