Abstract
- The author reflects on the acquisition of new technology instruments, like the autofluorescence imaging for private clinicians. Teaching institutions and large practices only have the sources acquiring new equipment after its introduction, but not for the solo practitioner. The author suggests banding or merging of practice to enable the clinicians to acquire new instruments in coping up with the necessities of clinical practice.
