Abstract

The article focuses on insulin and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-I) as causes of endometrial cancer. It states that one of the major risk factors of endometrial cancer is obesity which is also associated with high levels of insulin. The relation of IGF-I with endometrial cancer is discussed. Several tables showing the statistical analysis of the study are also presented. The study finds that insulin levels are associated with endometrioid adenocarcinoma incident.
