Abstract
- The article focuses on the possible adoption of procedural and evidentiary rules patterned from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Rules of Evidence for immigration proceedings. It cites that the adoption will greatly help the immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) in handling immigration cases. The lack of workable and systematic formal rules of procedure and evidence allegedly resulted to the deportation of non-citizens.
