Abstract

The article discusses the works of sculptor Athena Tacha in Greece. One of her sculpture "Marianthe" displayed at the University of South Florida consists of several rising curves that curl around each other into two centers and culminating in a planter. According to the author, Tacha is able to draw on the double resource of ancient and modern science, as well as crossing points of Eastern and Western aesthetic concepts as being influenced in Greek architecture.
