Abstract

The article reports on the lack of concrete findings on the effect of teacher compensation initiative to students' academic achievement. The mixed results of three studies lead researchers to promote additional study to achieve similar initiatives. Marcus Winters, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, emphasizes the need for further research on the subject.
