Abstract
- The article focuses on the status of the sorted office paper (SOP) grade in the recovered paper markets. It states that demand for SOP from developing countries has increased its prices. According to Mary Aldrich of MinnKota Recycling, export markets have been the major drivers for recycled paper demand. It also notes that market outlook for old newspapers (ONP) has been bleak, with the newspaper industry reporting a decrease in advertising and subscriptions print media.
