- Chapter 14 of the book "A Middy of the King," by Harry Collingwood is presented. In this chapter, the author describes the craft's encounter with the pirates and the hurricane. The schooner was pitching bows under after the first stroke of the hurricane, and shipping increasing quantities of water at every plunge.
