Abstract
- The separated identification method of asymmetric hysteretic model parameters is presented to describe the vertical asymmetric hysteretic characteristics of wire-cable isolators. A wire-cable isolator is tested to acquire its asymmetric hysteretic loop. With the separated identification method, the hysteretic loop is identified for its asymmetric hysteretic model parameters. Moreover, based on the identification process, the asymmetric hysteretic model is properly modified to consist with the actual loop. According to the identification result, the mathematic model of the experimental loop is established, and the corresponding theoretical loop of the model is obtained through the numerical calculation. The comparison of the theoretical loop and the experimental loop shows that the separated identification method can attain good identification results and the modification of the asymmetric hysteretic model is appropriate.
