A reply to the immediately preceding defense by Matthias Till of his article is presented. The writer cites two articles written by himself on quantifying gray market income. The fact that well-to-do citizens may also have significant unreported income is said not to affect the study of poverty and to involve only 5-10% of that "shadow" economy.
