Abstract
- The author reflects on trends in the interior textile industry. She points out that market forecasts would not matter if the customer base does not want the products available. She mentions a study which showed that half of the consumers aged between 18 to 34 no longer use watches since they use their cellular phones to keep time. He argues that the industry must keep track of lifestyle developments that affect consumer preferences.
