Abstract
- A biography of Lotte Reiniger, an animator, is presented. She was born on June 2, 1899 in Berlin. She enrolled in Max Reinhardt's Drama School, became an extra for stage performances, and created paper silhouette in her teenage years. Hans Cürlis, and Carl Koch from the Institute for Cultural Research helped her made her first animation movies.
