FRANCISCO CLEVES, UN PINTOR FLAMENCO EN LAS CORTES DUCALES DEL INFANTADO Y PASTRANA.

The article presents a study concerning several Flemish artists in Spain between the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries as well as their complete vision of life and activities. It is noted that Francisco de Cleves has been analyzed using historiographic references and through the examination of documentary sources. The analysis rendered an approximation to the artist's personal and professional circumstances. He served two of the most important ducal houses known today, the Infantado and the Pastrana.
