Abstract
- The article discusses that after Karen Greenberg concluded an article on TomDispatch.com since September 27, 2007, a media conversation about torture has unexpectedly taken off in the U.S. The author inferred that the New York Times in the October 10, 2007 issue published a lengthy exposé about the long turmoil at the Department of Justice caused by the president George W. Bush White House's pressure that enhanced interrogation was key to fighting its war on terror. MSNBC's Keith Olbermann rebuked Bush directly for torture especially waterboarding, the practice of simulated drowning.
